In the years of dealing with visual arts, I came in touch with many interesting artists. While at the beginning I was particularly inspired by the works of Albin Egger-Lienz, Alfons Walde, Egon Schiele and Horst Janssen, in the course of my studies I came into contact with artists from American Expressionism such as Willem DeKooning, Franz Kline or Jean Paul Riopelle, who made a strong impression on me. The paintings of current artists such as Flora Yukhnovich, Karen Silve and Brian Ruthenberg also leave their mark on my way of expressing myself. My style was particularly influenced by the seminars with Bogdan Pascu and Stefan Heide.
My focus is on consisting composition and colour harmony.
I want to stimulate, not instruct with my paintings. My goal is to create powerful and expressive works on the border between figuration and abstraction.
For this purpose I use any stylistic device that comes across.
